★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広い駐車場がある公園で、隣の中山神社や總光寺に行く時に便利です。トイレと東屋があって、美しい町並み賞を受賞したという景観に配慮した外観になっているのはよいです。
 It is a park with a large parking lot, convenient for going to the neighboring Nakayama Shrine or Enkoji Temple. It is good that there is a restroom and an arbor, and that it has an appearance that takes into consideration the scenery that it won a beautiful townscape award.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつて「砂山」と読んでいた中山神社の裏手の山の上には、今は酒田市水道局の大きな貯水タンクが設置してあります。また砂山の斜面には名産の「庄内柿」の木が植えられています。背が低く横へ横へと剪定されたその特異な樹形は一際目を引きます。
A large water storage tank of Sakata City Waterworks Bureau has now been installed on the mountain behind the Nakayama Shrine, which I once read "Sasan". Also, on the slope of the sand mountain, the "Sainai Persimmon" tree of a typical product is planted. Its unique tree shape, which is short and pruned to the side, draws a glance.
