★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 須磨霊泉は二つの注ぎ口から半円を描くように飲料水、野菜洗い、洗濯と用途別に流れ込んでいます。この水は須磨寺町にある堂谷池周辺から湧いている地下水といわれ、大正１３年に作られたそうです。
須磨霊泉は命の水とも呼ばれ、阪神・淡路大震災の時には水を求めて長い行列が出来ました。
しかしながら、この湧水は水質が安定しておらず大腸菌が検出されることがあります。生で飲む事に適しておらず、飲用には必ず煮沸してから飲むようにと注意書きがあります。
2003年(平成15年)の水質検査で大腸菌を検出。
煮沸してから飲むのが良いです。

給水車の水は無くなったら終わりですが、ここの水は無くなったりしませんし。
震災の際、前に並んでいた親子が、「前に何人いるか数えてこい」と言って子供に数えさせたところ。１５６人！
でも、３時間半で霊泉に辿りつけました。
家に持って帰り煮沸して、生後３か月の長男のミルクを作りました。
まさに、命の水でした。

ところで、
コップが置いてあり、飲んだらだめと書かれてなかったと思うのですが、生水だめだったのですか？
(他の方が書かれてるの後からみました)
一応お腹は無事でした。
