★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was lost in Shibuya after counting down the new year. And I came across this lovely small diner. I was able to retreat from the cold and have a nice hearty meal while I was at it. Now that I know where this is thanks to Google maps timeline, I definitely will return to this beacon of light when I was once lost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is Japanese fast food with underwhelming customer service. The food comes out quickly and the main don bowls taste good. Not amazing but filling and reasonable.
The miso soup and pickled veggies were pretty bad but not poison-you bad. Would probably come here if I was dying of hunger and can't eat ramen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable Japanese quick meal chain. Good for value. We arrived at 8am and only one girl handled everything from taking order, preparing food, cashier, and clear the plates/clean the table. So don't expect the staff to be friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess the best way to describe this place is a Japanese fast food cafe. We stopped here two days in a row for breakfast simply because it was close and open. They have a basic set of dishes and you select your toppings and sizes. Portion size is really good for the price and the food is hot fresh and comes out quickly.
The first day our waitress seemed to be having a bad day or was just frustrated. She was the only one working and seemed put off that we were there as she was trying to prep everything. Maybe someone called in sick and she had to do everything?? The second day there were two people working and the service seemed fine.
So if the location is convenient for you and you are up and want to eat before 11:00 am this place is worth the stop.
