★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道51号線沿い，大竹公民館の南に鳥居があり，そこから左手に虚空蔵尊の大きなお堂を見ながら歩んで石段を上ると赤い社殿が鎮座していらっしゃいます。御祭神・御由緒とも不詳ですが，水神社という社名にしては海岸から離れていますので，茨城のゴールドコースト（マジか？一応そうらしいです）と呼ばれる大竹海岸の開発に伴って，森ひとつ間に挟んだ当地に遷宮されたのかなと地図を見ながら想像してみましたが，どうでしょうか。
