川をうねらせた山裾には元々“洲原神社”があり、対岸の洲溜まりには“雨霜神社”が水災害から地域を守りお祀りしてあるんでしょうね。
地域の歴史を感じる素敵な地名ですね。
 I wonder if this area is named after the place where the river swells and the earth and sand accumulate and the "island" is created.
Originally, there was "Suhara Shrine" at the foot of the mountain where the river swelled, and "Ameshimo Shrine" was enshrined in the shore on the opposite bank to protect the area from water disasters.
It's a wonderful place name where you can feel the history of the area.
