★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly owner with smiley disposition (even with mask). You will definitely feel welcome by him. Great kebab and he will ask if you would like it to be spicy (YES). Most importantly for Muslim, whenever you're around the shopping district, you can stop by and get a quick bite of the Kebab roll.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you go to Kyoto, you MUST come here!!! This Turkish restaurant serves the best kebabs in all of Kyoto - hands down ?.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They can speak English, Japanese and Turkish.
The chicken is very flavourful and tender. The kebab is is served with onions, tomatoes and lettuce. The star is the hot sauce - wow!! Not too spicy but it’s the perfect addition to this mouth watering kebab.
Each kebab is only ¥500 (I had 2 because they were so delicious). You can also order a doner or a chicken doner rice bowl. They also have Turkish ice cream (vanilla or mango). Take out beer is also available - Heineken and Bomonti (Turkish beer). Take out is available here, as well.
The restaurant also sells other merchandise for Turkey - hand crafted.
I can’t wait to come back again - the most delicious kebab awaits you here, at Mesopotamia!!!
