Sparrow Small Hair Small Pen (Fort) is built on a slightly high mountain surrounded by the Yoro River that meanders in the middle of Chiba Prefecture. The three sides of the south-northeast are natural water moats, and the location conditions as a strategic base are also good. At the western end of this small mountain, there is Sakanaka Yakushido, where Yakushi Nyorai is enshrined, and it is said that there is an auspiciousness that is handed down to Mido. " It is said that there used to be a Heian period building called [Mizonoseikan] on the east side of Jakugasaki Castle. It seems that Jakugasaki Castle and Misono Seikan were originally connected to each other across a moat, but now they have been cut down due to the construction of a road and have a low hill shape, and no trace of them can be seen. It is said that the owner of the Misono Seikan at that time was Mr. Odate. However, Minamoto no Yorimitsu, his death was in the first year of Jian (68-74 years old, a fairly old body at that time), so this legend may be nothing more than a legend. On the other hand, the castle of Jakugasaki seems to be built quite skillfully. The Guo structure skillfully organizes the sections, and the boundary is a deep moat (Horikiri). The part that seems to be the main hut at the top of the mountain is a well-leveled flat part, which is enough to set up a small building, but the other huts are quite small. Ikewada Castle is seen on the opposite bank of the Yoro River, but it seems that the defense performance is better here. However, due to the small size of the mountain, it will not be enough to deploy many soldiers. The view from the castle, which has transformed from the lord's mansion in the Heian period to a mountain castle in the Warring States period, is quite spectacular. It is now a cemetery, and in the scenic scenery and silence, there are tombstones built to blend in with the intricately shaped moat.

Although the castle area is not very large, the grass is mowed, and there are plenty of clay bridges, tiger mouths, moats, etc. It is a must-see if it is a perfect introduction to the medieval castle.
