国道から踏切を渡ってすぐ右が搦手口、左に行くと大手門口です。
搦手口は直登出来て早道ですが、車を置く場所はないです。大手門口には空き地があるので駐車可能ですが、スズメバチがバンバン飛んでました。
駅から歩きであれば羽前豊里からすぐですが、真室川駅からでも問題ありません。
羽前豊里駅に車を置くのが1番良いかも知れませんね。
熊がでるらしいので、注意が必要だと言われましたが、特に遭遇しませんでした。
そんな物好きはいないかとは思いますが、新庄から半日かからずに歩きでも行けますよ（帰りはさすがに電車乗りましたが）

Right after crossing the railroad crossing from the national highway, the right is the Toteguchi, and the left is the Otemon Gate.
You can climb straight and the way is fast, but there is no place to put a car. Since there is a vacant lot at the major gate, parking was possible, but wasps flew bang-bang.
If you walk from the station, it will be right from Toyosato Uzen, but there is no problem even from Mamurogawa Station.
It might be best to place a car at Uzen Toyosato Station.
I was told that I need to be careful because it seems to bear, but I didn't encounter it.
I don't think you like them, but you can walk from Shinjo in less than half a day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 慶長出羽合戦で上杉本陣に迫るほど奮戦し、「鮭延が武勇、信玄・謙信にも覚えなし」と直江兼続に言わしめた名将、鮭延秀綱が治めた城。Google MAPではあっさり表示されてますが、縄張りがどこまでなのか分からないほど広大かつ急峻な天然の要害です。
残念ながら遺構は自然に帰りつつあり、経路が豪雨で崩壊していたりしますので少々危険です。夏場に訪問したらスズメバチに威嚇され、人気のない山ですので一応熊対策も必要かと思いました。それでも巨大な空堀に堀切、帯曲輪、薬師堂、十字砲火を浴びる搦め手口、薮となる大手口、石跡が残る本丸からの眺望と見所は多々あります。
アクセスは国道から踏切を越え脇道に入ると看板が見えます。駐車場が付近に見当たらないため、それなりに広く通行量が少ない道路がありますので自己責任にて利用しましょう。

Even so, there are many views and attractions from Horikiri, Kuruwa, Yakushido, Crossfire, Oteguchi, which becomes a bush, and Honmaru, where stone marks remain.
For access, cross the railroad crossing from the national highway and enter the side road to see the signboard. Since there is no parking lot nearby, there are wide and low-traffic roads, so use at your own risk.
