★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come to Japan once a year to frequent this shop. The reason I come is for junior-san. I christened the nickname junior-san because he's not even the head chef in the restaurant. But his craftsmanship is like no other. Better than his master. Better than sushi iwase. Better than kyubey.
I value taste. Not decor nor presentation. You can't eat that. His fish to rice ratio is perfect. Piece size, perfect. He has the perfect salt and soy sauce application to maximize the taste experience. Guy has his salt control down to a science.
I wish I can request his services to fly to New York to be my personal sushi chef for my bachelor party when I get engaged.
FYI, his real name is Tayo for he is the sun who illuminates the world of sushi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Besides the long wait, the staff and food were great! The seating is squished as it fits only 13 uncomfortably lol. I was elbows touching on left and right.
I loved how you can choose your last piece of the omakase and order more if you're hungry afterward. Definitely get the 4000¥ for 12 pieces as you've waited far enough for great tasting sushi!
