★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very lovely hotel by the lake. In-room dining was served as part of the deal and an extensive full-course menu of traditional fare. Service is excellent people are all so nice they will volunteer to help you take photos. All staff working like clockwork to provide us with good hospitality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience and easily met the (already) high expectations we had. We felt that the price was very reasonable considering the service, food, rooms and location. Our room was a traditional Japanese style room with futons on the floor and a sitting area overlooking the view of Mt. Fuji.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can see Fuji mountain from all of the rooms in this hotel, right in front your window as in the picture below. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is great. You should stay at least two nights here to enjoy a fantastic holiday

A little more view of Fuji Mount with the lake. A little bit better Japanese dinner in terms of quality, A little bit better in the type of food in breakfast, a little bit more in services with smiles and cares, a little bit more on outdoor hot spring bath (public).....
All in all, worth to go again and choose a class suit your expectations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location and view of Fuji, incredible kaiseki dinner, and probably the best service I've received at a hotel anywhere in the world. Onsen is very nice (aside from the initial awkwardness that comes from being English and naked). The staff were very kind, polite and welcoming throughout my stay - they also went beyond any reasonable expectation to get a message to me about a forgotten item before I'd left the town. Expensive, but very much worth spending the extra or stay here for the dinner and staff recommendations of the best times to view Fuji across the lake from the room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good services of booking and dining, environment, food and 3 open-air bath rooms. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the wonderful scene, including Fuji mountain and the lake in Oct, 2017. Although it is not next to the train station, the hotel's shuttle bus is convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel was beautiful. The staff were so friendly they made you feel like family. This is one of the only places where you can wake up to the beautiful views of my Fuji over the lake (if your lucky you will get the picturesque reflection). The meals were unreal and very close to a Japanese home stay. Highly recommended this place. Forget about the price. This place is priceless and a once in a lifetime visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to watch the fireworks every weekend in Jan. Views of mount Fuji from the hot baths are spectacular!
Staff are always courteous and helpful, great place to get your rest and relaxation away from the city! Also plenty to do around the area if you like hiking, canoeing, cycling, etc.
