★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 桜でも有名なお寺ですが、今年も参道の牡丹が見事に咲き誇っております。毎年、お参りをしながら春を感じるスポットとして訪れております。
It is a temple famous for its cherry blossoms, but the peony of the approach is blooming wonderfully this year. Every year, I visit it as a spot to feel spring while making a visit.

In 1992, I took the Niigata University School of Dentistry exam. The day before the exam, I happened to come across this temple while strolling near the hotel to calm myself down. I was surprised at the name "Korakuji". Maybe the gods and Buddha's announcement? It's a little far, but I came from the front of the gate. Result is? It passed with an easy victory. うちが浄土真宗なのでこちらをお参りさせていただきました。

本堂はとても立派な、ドッシリとした印象✨ そこにあったお地蔵様と椿の絵がとても素敵でした✨✨ 書かれていたお言葉の様に『心が和らぐ』お寺様でした?

真宗大谷派の寺院。
創建は1273年、親鸞の直弟子の圓善坊によって開かれたのが始まり。当初は越前国今立郡和田村にあったそうです。
明治2年にイギリス領事館が設置されたそうです。もちろん今はない。
桜が見事でした。
また、こしの千涯が描いた、良寛てまりの碑や親鸞聖人などの御分骨の碑が境内にあります。本堂内も拝見できてよかったです。

Shinshu Otani school temple.
It was founded in 1273 by Shinran's direct disciple, Enzenbo. Initially, it was located in Wada-mura, Imadate-gun, Echizen Province.
It seems that the British Consulate was established in the 2nd year of the Meiji Era. Of course not now.
The cherry blossoms were wonderful.
In addition, there is a monument of Ryokan Taigu and a monument of Shinran's bones such as Shinran saints drawn by Koshi no Senjo in the precincts. It was nice to see the inside of the main hall.
