御首題と御朱印は頂く事はできなかった。
玄関付近で飼われている犬に吠えられたり
あまり良い思い出は無かった。
併設している保育園が
近くに住む親類と縁があっただけに残念

慶長15年（1610年）に千葉県松戸市平賀にある、日蓮宗の本山本土寺の第16世 日舜聖人が隠居するためのお寺として開基されたお寺です。
米田の鬼子母尊神として地域の信仰を集めています。
毎月8日は鬼子母尊神祭が行われ諸願成就のご祈祷が行われています。
毎月28日は祈りの日でお題目（南無妙法蓮華経）を500回唱えて供養、祈りを捧げます。
いずれも宗旨宗派問わないとの事です。
住職は世界三大荒行の一つ日蓮宗の荒行を第再々行（4回）厳修されている立派な方ですが親しみやすい人柄ですので供養やお悩みなど何でも相談されると良いと思います。
