There's a convenience store just below the main shinkansen platform that sells beer and onigiri. I bought a lot of both, and appropriately, I don't remember much after that.

Also huses a big department store and superb supermarket not to be missed. Plenty of shops to satisfy anybody! Very practical location!)

p	peter oht on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice and clean train station - as expected in Japan. There are plenty of shops to walk around and have a look but we were really here to take the Shinkansen. After buying the tickets, we went upstairs to the tracks. The train platforms are not very modern, but functional and complete with lots of vending machines. While we were waiting for our Shinkansen, one flew by on the middle track and it gave us all a mightly scare. It was incredible the speed these beautiful machines can get up to. While we were riding the Shinkansen, we noticed how smooth the ride was. It was so smooth you forget you are in a train, running on tracks. Just plain amazing.
M	Muhammad Nurul Fajri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This station is perfect in term of size. It's not as massive as the stations in tokyo, nor too small like the ones in countryside. Easy access to the city center and many good places. This station holds a lot of memories for me.
