★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅のホームは千鳥型に配置。清水方面は構内踏切を渡ってホームに向かう。駅を出て清水方面に歩いて階段を上れば「桜橋」に出る。
Station platforms are arranged in a zigzag pattern. In the direction of Shimizu, cross the yard crossing to the platform. Exit the station, walk toward Shimizu and walk up the stairs to get to Sakurabashi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 車では行けない場所にある駅舎です。近隣の道路は交通量も激しく、橋下にある駅舎の為、路駐して見学に来るコトは不可能です。JRと平行して走っている場所で、ちょっと感動しました。
It is a station building that cannot be reached by car. There is heavy traffic on nearby roads, and it is impossible to come and visit the station because of the station building under the bridge. I was a bit impressed at the place running in parallel with JR.

Sakurabashi Station was established on December 9, 1908.
Sakurabashi Station has two parallel side platforms, which are offset so that the end of one platform is close to the head of the other, with a level crossing connecting the two platforms. The station building is built on one end of the platform, and has automated ticket machines, and automated turnstiles, which accept the LuLuCa smart card ticketing system as well as the PiTaPa and ICOCA IC cards.
