★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 静岡鉄道 JR共に乗り換え案内はされないが、この駅が両路線の乗換駅となる。
というのも、静岡駅(新静岡駅) 清水駅(新清水駅)、あるいは東静岡駅(柚木駅)でも乗換は可能だが、徒歩10分程度掛かる一方で、草薙では徒歩5分で済むからですね。
静岡鉄道の草薙駅は上り下りホームが分離されている2面2線構造。時間によってはこの駅で離合します。(複線なのでこの言い方は適切ではないですが)
There is no transfer guidance for Shizuoka Railway JR, but this station will be a transfer station for both routes.
This is because you can transfer at Shizuoka Station (Shin Shizuoka Station), Shimizu Station (Shin Shimizu Station), or Higashi Shizuoka Station (Yuzuki Station), but it takes about 10 minutes on foot, while Kusanagi takes only 5 minutes on foot. Right.
Kusanagi Station on the Shizuoka Railway has a two-sided, two-line structure with up and down platforms separated. Depending on the time, we will get off at this station. (This is not proper because it is a double track)

JR側が目下再開発中。反対側は古くからの商店街といった感じ。

改札口は１つ。改札を抜けると駅構内踏切があり、それを渡って新静岡方面に。
トイレもあり、昔懐かしさを残している駅

Kusanagi Station was established on December 9, 1908.
Located in the busy suburb of Kusanagi, Kusanagi Station services several local schools and companies, including the University of Shizuoka. In 3 minutes one can walk from the station to transfer to the Tōkaidō Main Line via the line’s own Kusanagi Station.
Kusanagi Station has two side platforms. The station building has automated ticket machines, and automated turnstiles, which accept the LuLuCa smart card ticketing system as well as the PiTaPa and ICOCA IC cards.
