There is almost no change from the terrain at the time of 1575. Nobunaga Army 30,000 and Ieyasu Army 8,000 set up in Shitarahara in front of Nagashino Castle on May 18. Shitarahara was a place where many hills lined up from north to south along streams and streams. From here, Nobunaga could not see the depths of the opponent's team, but Nobunaga took advantage of this point and made 30,000 troops intermittently laid out so that they could not be seen by the enemy, and built a defense team by using Ogawa and Rengo River as moats. Strive for. This was an unusual field fortification for Japan at the time, in which both slopes of the plateau across the river were cut into artificial steep slopes, and a horse fence was installed on the triple earthworks. In other words, Nobunaga adopted a tactic of attacking Takeda's cavalry by defending the almost defenseless gun corps with fences and earthworks.

It is the most main and major historic site of "Battle of Nagashino". The reproduced horse fence, the terrace-shaped countryside spreading in front of it, the Rengo River, which is a natural moat, and the hills that you can see facing each other are lined up by the Takeda army, and various thoughts run around. The surrounding area is a treasure trove of battle historic sites, so history fans, especially Sengoku fans, will not be able to bear it. I can't go around in a day or so because I don't have any holes. On the other hand, even non-history fans can enjoy it as a tourist destination, such as the nearby Shitarahara Battle Historical Museum. Why don't you enjoy the Nagashino Shitaragahara Battle, which was a big event in history?

The horse fence has been partially restored, and you can think of the fierce battles of the Warring States period. We recommend visiting with the nearby Shitarahara History Museum.

The old battlefield where the Oda-Tokugawa Union vs. Takeda Katsuyori fought. It is famous for the dramatic increase in the presence of guns.

It's been about three and a half years since I lived in Nagoya, and although it was a place I wanted to go to, I didn't have a chance to go and created an opportunity to go. It was a battle where Takeda's fate was exhausted, and I looked around while thinking that the battle method during the Warring States period was a battle that was revolutionarily changed by the weapon of iron 炮.

A luxurious old battlefield with a panoramic view of the Rengo River, the horse fence, and Mt. Dansho and Mt. Maruyama. We visited the scattered Takeda warlords' mounds, Shingen Otsuka and the small Tokugawa war dead Kozuka. The balmy spring equinoctial week ? I think it was a good day ?

This is the place where the Allied Forces of Nobunaga Oda and Ieyasu Tokugawa fought against Katsuyori Takeda. The battle ended in about 8 hours. At this time, Oda Nobunaga, Oda Nobutada, Shibata Katsuya, Niwa Nagahide, Hashiba Hideyoshi, Takigawa Kazumasu, Akechi Mitsuhide, Sakuma Nobumoto, Mizuno Nobumoto, Ikeda Tsuneoki, Morinaga Ka, Gamo Ujisato, Sasanari Masa, Toshiie Maeda, etc. You were a great member. This "horse fence" is said to be a strategy that Nobunaga devised to counter Takeda's cavalry corps, which was feared to be the strongest during the Warring States period. The fact that Nobunaga built a horse fence just in front of the Rengo River had the same meaning as building a huge castle in Shitarahara. The Allies used guns to attack Takeda's cavalry to protect the castle. It is said that Nobunaga had soldiers carry the logs of the horse fence built by the Allied Forces from Gifu to Shitarahara one by one. In the Shitarahara area during the Warring States period, there were few large trees as they are now, and only small trees about the height of a person. For this reason, it was not possible to procure logs for horse fences locally.
