しかし、既に信玄が死去して三年後の合戦でありながら、ここは信玄塚の名称。この辺りの住所は「信玄」ですし。勝頼ではネームバリュー不足なのかしらん。

徳川家康役が、LLビーンやエディーバウアーを日本で最初に紹介、アウトドアの第一人者である油井昌由樹氏だったのにはびっくりしました。キャラクターは正反対そうですが、意外と違和感はありませんでした。

長篠の戦いの戦没者を埋葬した塚とされ、塚は大塚と小塚の2つあります。
大塚が「武田軍」、小塚が「織田・徳川連合軍」とのことです。
当然ながら、長篠の戦いの時に武田信玄公は生きていませんが、この塚は信玄塚として今の時代にも残っており、信玄公の偉大さを感じることができます。
新城市設楽原歴史資料館から歩いてすぐです。
