この欅は推定年齢千五百年です
この地の歴史を見続けてきました
しかし平成十二年 枯渇でその寿命を閉じました
切り倒す作業を始めたら晴れていた空が俄かに曇り激しい降雨となった だが 伐り終わると雨は上がり青空となった この時 残された切株に 神が宿ったものと信じ その幹に鞘をかけ 永久に敬う事とした
又 本殿横にも 後継の巨木があります
これも神宿る木として 崇拝しております
悠久の歴史を繋ぐ巨木達からパワーを受けて下さい
