★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 信長が弟の信勝と戦った「稲生の合戦」の時、信長軍の本陣だったと言われています。劣勢だった信長軍に「大音声を発しお狂いなされた…」結果大勝利をあげた場所です。信長が「お狂いなされた…」とあるのは、光秀を救いに大阪四天王寺砦に少人数で駆けつけた時もそうですが、信長の性格をよく表しています。
北に進むと、合戦の慰霊のための庚申堂があります。多くの伝説が残っています。

Heading north, you will find Koshindo for the memorial service of the battle. Many legends remain.
