B	Beat Media on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ もとは塩竈市公民館本町分室だったのをリノベーションして2014年に開館した、比較的新しい美術館。建物正面に向かう階段脇の門柱には公民館の表示が残る。建物の外壁や中庭の屋根を支える柱には「塩竈石」が使われている。大講堂のアーチ構造（逆さ懸垂曲線）が見事で、こんな公民館を造った昭和30年代の塩竃は、どれだけ栄えて豊かだったのだろう。名前になった「杉村惇」は、塩竈ゆかりの洋画家で、画伯の作品が常設展示されている。展示を見た後は、談話室という名前のカフェでひと休み。 A relatively new museum opened in 2014 after renovating from the Honmachi branch of Shiogama City Public Hall. The sign of the public hall remains on the gate post next to the stairs facing the front of the building. Shiogama stone is used for the pillars that support the outer walls of the building and the roof of the courtyard. The arch structure (upside-down hanging curve) of the large auditorium is wonderful, and how the Shiogama in the 1930s that built such a public hall was prosperous and rich. The name "Jun Sugimura" is a Western-style painter related to Shiogama, and his artist's work is on permanent display. After seeing the exhibits, take a break in a café named lounge.

Thanks to me for leaving this building, not to mention the work, it is a very nice building.
