D	David P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this area at night to see everything lit up. It was fun to stroll around the check our the retro carnival style lights and 3D food signs cropping out over various restaurants. We felt safe the whole time (even when walking to/from the Namba area) and there were many people walking around the Shimsekai main strip even around 8-10pm on a Sunday in May. However, at that time, pretty much all the souvenir shops were shut down.

C	Charlie W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in the evening so some of the shops were shut but the view of the tower was great, all the restaurants had amazing exteriors. We had great fried food (Osaka special) at a lovely restaurant and played arcade games and claw machines, some places also had photo booths. The kebab place there is also good and speaks good English. Definitely will be returning to finish exploring.

It was a bit quiet though and not as much hustle and bustle that we thought there would be. Make sure to try the takoyaki here and the jiggly cheesecake! Note: Visited prior to Covid, so things may be different.

A	Andres Botero on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can't miss this when visiting Osaka. Street food is the thing to try out here and there are lots of great spots to eat. It's somewhat easy to get here, the metro leaves you close and Google map will show you the way. You will not see it easily untill you see it. Try many places, all with different varieties of food.

In this covid time, you can't get in without an appointment. So I just took a pose at the gate. Anyways, I have some photos to share with you.
L	Lo Wood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming area to walk around! Such a great spot for photos of interesting storefronts and seemingly endless food options. The old school arcade caught my eye but I didn’t get inside. Definitely a fun place to wander
