越将軍塚古墳

It is located on the mountain peak of Nagano-shi and Chikuma-shi border. Since it was thought as a keyhole-shaped tumuli for a long time, it refers to the crown of the same general mound as Chikuma City's Mori General Mounds, Kuraki General Tsukasa, Muruguchi Shogun Mounds, Nagano City Shogun Kawagiyagi Mounds. That's right it is determined that the result 2 Dan circular mound of stone chamber and the outer peripheral investigation since the beginning of the Showa. But there is a slightly elevated square section to the east side. The view from the top of the mountain is not inferior to Mori General Mounds. Rather Chikuma from Sakaki district, located in the good location land with views to Nagano. It is along the Shinoyama promenade. In about 20 minutes from the village below, there is Yue generals mound. There is a Tsukuba kofu burial mound with a lateral hole type stone room if going down a little. It ruins number 5593 in Nagano Prefecture Archaeological Association.

The Koshi Shogun Tsuka Kofun is a large circle burial mound located on a mountain at an altitude of 490m, facing the alluvial plain in the southern part of Zenkojidaira. From here, the Shiozaki / Shinonoi archaeological site and the Nakago Shrine front and rear burial mound / Senryu Shogun Tsukako burial mound, the Yashiro / Awasa archaeological site across the Chikuma River to the east, the Mori Shogun Tsukako burial mound / Ariakeyama Shogun Tsukako burial mound / Kurashina You can see the Shogun Tsuka Kofun and the Doguchi Shogun Tsuka Kofun. This burial mound has long been regarded as a front-rear burial mound, but it has a pit-type stone chamber due to a survey conducted in 1972 and a re-excavation of the stone chamber of the Nagano City Board of Education in 1978. It turned out to be a burial mound. The mound is built on the roof, has a diameter of 33m and a height of 6.7m, and runs around a peripheral groove (①Shukou). There is a 1m wide step in the middle area, and there are root stones around the base of the mound. The vertical hole type stone chamber, which is mainly inside, has a main axis from north to south, and split stones are piled up in small lots. The scale of the stone chamber is 6.2m in length of the upper edge, 1.4m in width of the north wall, 1.2m in width of the south wall, 0.7-0.9m in height, and andesite is used, but there is no trace of red color and the floor. The surface is covered with gravel. Relics include small balls made of talc, small iron pieces, cylindrical haniwa, and cups and jars of Haji pottery. It was built in the 5th century, and there is one side of the 5th century burial mound, which is presumed to have been excavated from this burial mound.
