My favorite taiga drama was "Taheiki" (after raising troops at Shinomura Hachiman, I dropped Rokuhara, and the area around Kamakura was the most exciting), so I'd like to go someday. I was thinking, but I'm coming to Kyoto from time to time, but I couldn't reach this far just for this, so my long-awaited visit It was a shrine with the appearance of a local Ujigami, which is usually found everywhere. Although the surrounding area has been developed as a residential area, it seems that only the shrine remains in the residential area. A lot of local elementary school students were playing in the precincts However, since it is also a turning point in the history of Ashikaga Takauji's troops, I think that some tourists will come, but it is not very kind. It was difficult to understand the kind of signboards in the precincts (Yo Flag, I searched around the precincts by looking at the signboard called 50M in the back, but I could not find it easily. No way outside the precincts), the parking lot There is, but I couldn't find any signboard I want you to do something a little more Now that I have a smartphone (map app) and a car navigation system, I can manage it, but I thought it would be difficult to reach it a long time ago.

There is a place where Mr. Ashikaga Takahara is fried, and the shrine is also great. Shiba Inu was definitely a favorite.

Takashi Ashikaga (Mr. Takashi) raised the flag to give it to Emperor Gojo and attacked the Rokuhara quest. It is also said that when he resigned from Emperor Gojo, he vowed to come back here. Strolling around while thinking about collecting 10,000 to 20,000 here, it is strange that you can imagine a crowd of equestrian warriors standing in the new bicycle parking lot of Shinomura Kindergarten.

Mr. Takauji Ashikaga, the place that became the starting point of the capture of Kyoto Rokuhara. Currently, it is connected to the main roads such as National Route 9 and Kyoto Jukan Expressway from Kyoto, and it seems that the old San-in Expressway was a key point of transportation when Mr. Taka raised his troops. The old Sanin Road runs in contact with the shrine site, and the cedar that raises a flag to show the gathering place for gathering allies in the open area of Kameoka in the back of Hozu Gorge so that it is not noticeable from the Hojo side of Rokuhara. The trees are also preserved, and I was able to fully feel the romance of history. I visited on Saturday, but the office wasn't popular, so I thought I'd buy it as a talisman for the benefit, but unfortunately it didn't work. Perhaps because of Corona, the people who were visiting were a few visitors including myself, and the atmosphere was lonely compared to the size of the precincts. I wondered if it would be possible to purchase amulets if I visited at the time of events such as New Year. The parking lot was on the old San-in Expressway opposite the front of the shrine. It took a long time to find it because it did not appear in the navigation system, so it is recommended that those who go by car do a preliminary check.

About 5 minutes walk from Shino bus stop. The precincts are a race with a wide, green and calm atmosphere. The children were playing cheerfully, but I think they'll be doing festivals in a place of relaxation in the area. It was a shrine that was raised by Takashi Ashikaga, and it was the place where Mitsuhide Akechi marched on the eve of the change of Honnoji Temple, so I really wanted to visit it. I feel the depth of history in the Olympic tower in the Muromachi period. At the back of the shrine, there is a willow (Yang) where Takashi Ashikaga raises the flag of Genji, and at the side of the main shrine, there is the Yazuka of the arrow that Takashi and others shot at the time of the decision.

Just little north-west along the same road is Shinomura Hachimangu Shrine. The place is known as a ground where oldtime famous worrior Ashikaga raised a flag to subvert Shogunate of Kamakura Period. According to the historical record the shrine was established in 1071 by Minamoto Clan. The main structure where the deity is enshrine is a quite impressive building. It is believed that Takauji Ashikaga offered one arrow each time he visited here and other worriors followed the same. Therefore the place was mounded by arrows from visitors making their wishes in this place. The tree of Hebrai was planted next to the mound in commemoration of this sacred ground.
