★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 他の峠と比べて人気が無いようで、人とすれ違う事は有りませんでした。木曽馬の里から向かいましたが、民家の裏を抜けないと入り口にたどり着けない事や、舗装された道で頂上に行けてしまうのも要因かと言えます。

展望台とお地蔵さんがあります。
新緑の木々のトンネルと、空気が綺麗でした。
道は少し草がせり出していたので、運転になれない方はやめておいたほうがいいでしょう。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今から４０年程前は 木曽福島方面から 開田村(or)木曾馬=産地の 開田高原=方面へと 向かう メインの国道であった様に 記憶しています。
とても 素敵な雰囲気の 漂う 峠道の 光景でした様にも 記憶しています。
勿論｢もちろん｣ 通行車両も 結構に多くて 今から思えば 運転に 自信がある方が 運転をされる様に して下さい。とする【□お願い事の 立て看板□】が 県下(◎長野県･岐阜県◎)の 山岳部の国道の 彼方此方に 表示されてました時分の事でしたねぇー♪♪。
その後に 新道の 今現在の 片側一車線=確保の 新規ルートの 国道開通後の 暫くの期間は 夏場を中心として 紅葉見物の 時期までは 訪れる マイカー簇の方々も 多かった模様ですが 数年前に 久し振りに 訪問してみましたら【全くの 秘境の様な 雰囲気の 道｢みち｣】に 様変わりを 致してました。
旧道となりました 当該道路への アクセスたる 両方の入口さえ 間違えなければ ほぼ峠までは 主要な道路ですが 今の時期は【■冬季の 通行止めの 期間中■】だと 思われますから
来年度の『２０２０年の 春の４月頃』まで 待つ事に された方が 賢明策だと 思われます。
遭難しても 誰も 見つけ出してくれない様な【●無居住地区の 区間●】が 結構に 長くて 道も 険しく 曲がりくねっている所の【地蔵峠】ですから。
まっ♪立ち入る事が無い様に 冬季期間は 開閉バーにて【■車両の 通行止め■】は 一応は 施してあります模様｢もよう｣です【から】。
絶対に 冬場は 今現代の 現代人では 無理です。普通に 遭難しちゃいます。春の 雪融け後の 開通時期まで 待ちましょう。因みに 確か？･･･普通に 日本猿が 居｢い｣たみたいな 記憶とやらが 御座います。
