 You can wear armor for free. The receptionist was kind and good. I was surprised at the exhibits and the history of Sekikawa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「せきかわ歴史とみちの館」は、国の重要文化財「渡邉邸」をイメージして建てられた石置木羽葺屋根撞木造りの建物です。
館内では、村の歴史資料が展示されているほか、渡辺邸など旧米沢街道の18世紀の町並みが模型で紹介されています。
町民の展示コーナー？は無料で見れます。
中庭テラスはテーブルとイスが設置されており無料で休憩ができます。飲み物は自販機で。
道の駅からも歩いていけます。
"Sekikawa history and Michinokan" is a stone-building, wood-bowl, roof-building, wooden-building built on the image of the important cultural property of the country, "Watanai House".
In the hall, historical data of the village are displayed, and the 18th century townscape of the former Yonezawa Highway such as Watanabe House is introduced with a model.
Townspeople's exhibition corner? Can be viewed for free.
The courtyard terrace has a table and chairs and you can take a break for free. Drinks are at vending machines.
You can also walk from the Road Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 時間が無かったので、中は入らなかったのですが、建物自体も良い感じです。中庭が解放されていました。休憩場になっています。次回は中も見てみたいです。
I didn't have time, so I couldn't get inside, but the building itself also felt good. The courtyard was open. It is a resting place. Next time I would like to see inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 建築雑誌で見て以前から来てみたかった建物です。 確かに丁寧に設計されていることは伝わってきたのですが、そもそも何のために作られた施設なのかがよくわかりませんでした。 とにかく観光に役立ちそうな箱物を作ろうとしたようにしか見えませんでした。 展示内容が非常に散漫で寄せ集め感だけが満載でした。 地元に関係する諸々を寄せ集めており、それらか所狭しと並べられているのですが、全体の印象としては空疎でした。（厳しすぎるかな） 新潟市にある同じ香山さん設計の「曽我・平澤記念館」も同じように建築としては良かったのですが、展示内容がとても退屈させるものでした。 何か関連する原因があるのでしょうか？
建築の方はルイス・カーンやカルロ・スカルパなどの要素が垣間見えて興味深かったです。
It's a building I've always wanted to see in an architectural magazine. It was certainly transmitted that it was carefully designed, but I didn't really understand what the facility was built for. It just looked like I was trying to make a box that would be useful for sightseeing. The contents of the exhibition were very diffused, and it was full of gathering feeling. We gathered together various things related to the local area, and they are arranged side by side, but the overall impression was empty. (Is it too strict?) The "Soga-Hirasawa Memorial Museum" designed by Mr. Kayama in Niigata was also good as an architecture, but the contents of the exhibition were very boring. Are there any related causes?
Architects were fascinating to see a glimpse of elements such as Luis Khan and Carlo Scarpa.

また、館内も有料スペースと無料スペースがあります。庭側の入口にロビーと無料スペースは無料で利用できるので、トイレや自販機の利用ができる旨の掲示があり親切だと思いました。
職員の方の対応も丁寧でした。
There is a space for children to play in the garden. You can play in the garden without entering.
There are also paid and free spaces inside the building. Since the lobby and free space can be used free of charge at the entrance on the garden side, I thought it would be nice to have a notice that the toilet and vending machine could be used.
The staff's response was also polite.

入館時、受付にスタッフの方が居なくて待たされたのが残念です。
I visited after Watanabe's house. Items related to Sekikawa Village are on display, and I think it will be fun for those who are interested in history.
It is a pity that we had to wait because there was no staff at the reception when we entered the museum.

セットの入場券があるので、そちらを購入しました。
公園にツリーハウスがあり、可愛かったです。
館内は綺麗で、最後に大蛇を見れて良かったです！
I stopped by when I went to Watanabe's house.
I have an admission ticket for the set, so I bought it.
There was a tree house in the park and it was cute.
The hall is beautiful and it was nice to see the big snake at the end!
