★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 上田市下室賀の三ツ頭山南東部の台地に7世紀ごろに造られた古墳で、急斜面にあるため帆立貝の様な形をした横穴式石室の円墳です。上田市指定史跡(古墳)でちゃんとした案内板があります。古墳はそこから30m登ったところにありますが、往き帰りとも足元に十分注意が必要です。
 It is an old burial mound built around the 7th century on the plateau in the southeastern part of Mitsugashirayama in Shimomuroga, Ueda City. There is a proper information board at the Ueda City designated historic site (Tumulus). The tumulus is located 30m up from there, but you need to be careful about your feet on the way back and forth.
