It is an old tomb that has been relocated. Unfortunately the stone chamber is in full view. But there is a romance what kind of person was buried.

この一カ所だけでも案内板にあるような非常に興味深い成果が得られたのですから、他も…と思うのですが、そういう方面に予算がつかない国の悲しいところですね。
It is said that it is an old burial mound that says, "I came out when I tried to make a new road."
This one place alone gave us very interesting results like the one on the information board, so I think there are others ... but it's a sad part of a country that doesn't have a budget in that direction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 上田 道と川の駅おとぎの里の敷地内にある小さな古墳で、道路工事で埋もれていた古墳群が発見されたため、発掘調査後にこちらへ移築した円噴です。ほぼ原形を留めていた古墳からは、人骨や珍しいフラスコ型の土器などが発掘されたそうです。何度か立ち寄っていた所にこの様な史跡があったとは、想いもしませんでした。
A small burial mound on the grounds of Ueda Road and Kawanoeki Otogi no Sato, a group of burial mounds buried in road construction was discovered, so it is a circular jet that was relocated here after excavation. It is said that human bones and rare flask-shaped pottery were excavated from the burial mound, which had remained almost in its original shape. I never thought that there was such a historic site in the place where I stopped by several times.
