★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この上王子神社は、香川県綾歌郡綾川町山田上に位置します。ここは、国道３７７号線と県道３９号線との間にある中讃南部広域農道から北方の三角寺方面に行くとある。峯ガ内(堂藪)神社と三角寺との間で東側の山中になる。この神社は、山田下にある王子神社の上にあるので上王子神社と名付けられたのであろう!?元々はこの辺りの地神社であったであろう!?その後、熊野三社御子神である[王子大神]を祀る神社になったと思われる!?この神は、開運、厄除けや家内安全、身体健全等を守る神である!?綾川町には王子神社は三社ある!?
