高架の駅なので冬場はとっても寒いです。
待合室はあります。
自動販売機もあります。
近くにイオンがあるので買い物に行くときはこの駅からですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関西の私鉄の駅では貴重な「七」から始まる駅で、「一から十で始まる駅を順にめぐる」というので利用することになる駅かと思います。が、南海線は他社線とノーラッチで乗り換えできないので、ICカードを印字すると途中駅での乗り換え記録が残ってしまうという、なんとも悔しい駅でもあります。

特急サザンは停まらないので、前後の駅で各停に乗り換える必要があります。
