It is a shrine at the top of Mt. Nishikanasa and is also called "former Kinsago Shrine" or "Kanasagoyama Royal Palace".
Let's do our best to climb the stairs ww
At the time of its foundation, the Shichido Garan Chudo, which imitated the temple of Enryakuji Temple on Mt. I did.
In the Middle Ages, Mr. Satake was deeply worshiped, and in the early modern period, the shrines and temples and ancient Buddha statues were abolished from Mt. Nishikanasa, and the monks were moved to another place and 26 stones were sent to the shrine in the early modern period.
The company site occupies the area of Mt. Nishikanasa surrounded by natural forest, and you can see many famous trees that are designated as natural monuments in Ibaraki prefecture, such as old cedar, large ginkgo, and large Spanish mackerel. I can. It is also famous for the large festival held every 72 years, the small festival held every 6 years, and the Dengaku dance (both are designated cultural properties of Ibaraki prefecture) dedicated to them.

[History]
It is said to have been founded in March of the first year of Daido. Due to the violence of the disease in his home country, at the request of Emperor Heizei, if the Sanno Gongen of Sakamoto, Shiga-gun, Shiga-gun, the jewel of Yokokawa, is enshrined, the epidemic will not be cured. In other words, since it is the founding place of Kinsago Shrine and the main shrine of Shimomiya Uenomiya, it has been called the former Kinsago Shrine and Kinsagoyama Royal Palace in honor of its prestige and continues to this day.
By the way, there is a practice of stopping the performance and worshiping at the place where we look up at the mountain from Orimatsudaira of the small festival, and it is said that there is something wrong with it. A long time ago, there were seven attendants from the Satake clan, and when they came to work, a messenger stood. The ritual of the estate also extends from Senju Village to Wada Village and Torenji Village, and has 14 stones, 4 to 8 squares. It is listed in the village shrine in 1897.
It is said that the Okami of gold sand was enshrined by looking up at the mountain where Shiun shelf was drawn from the sea of Mizuki, and the giant trees such as Keyaki, Shii, and Sakaki form a precious permanent natural forest that grows densely.
On the mountain, there is the main shrine of Kinsago Shrine, and the worship hall at the foot of the mountain is the ruins of a temple dedicated to the eleven-faced thousand-handed thousand-eyed Kanzeon Bodhisattva.

Kinsago Shrine in the east and west is developing as a place of mountain worship, but it seems that the former shrine was here. If this story is true, it has a long history.
Currently, it is a little lonely just because there is a simple palace, but you can enjoy the atmosphere.
It seems that it was prosperous in the time of Mr. Satake, but it seems that it was not so well thought by the Mito clan. The gods and Buddha are separated, and they are treated as cold treatment.
The place seems to have been unexplored in the past in the mountains.
Now I can drive to the foot of the mountain, but I couldn't find a parking lot. If you follow the road beside a private house (I was surprised to find several houses on a fairly steep slope. Did it also mean Yamashiro in the past?), There is an approach leading to the shrine.
There was a stone statue that seemed to be Jizo on the approach road, but my neck was broken. Since the year of Kyowa was dug in the stone monument, it may have been destroyed by the imperial sect during the turmoil at the end of the Edo period.
The stairs have collapsed due to the effects of the great earthquake or deterioration over time, and large trees have fallen down, so be careful.
Yamanaka's palace like this may disappear quietly as depopulation progresses in the future.

It is located after climbing a steep slope. It's a quiet place. If you go up the steep and wonderful stairs from the torii gate, you will find the Okumiya. The old stone steps were throbbing. It was nice to receive the welcome of bees and butterflies.
