★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 外観に津波が来た時の高さが書かれています。館内にも津波の記録などがあり、考えさせられます。
触れられるヒゲクジラの髭もあり、その長さにびっくりします。
所々にマネキンが置かれてあり、近くに行くまで人と思っていました。
一番の見所はマッコウクジラの骨格標本で、その大きさには圧倒されます。
特別大きな科学館ではありませんが、見応えはあります。
鯨が特別好きでなくでも、生物に興味のある方には面白くとても勉強になる場所だと思います。

Mannequins were placed here and there, and I thought of it as a person until I got near.
The highlight is the skeletal specimen of a sperm whale, which is overwhelmed by its size.
It's not a huge science museum, but it's worth seeing.
Even if you don't like whales in particular, I think it is an interesting and very educational place for those who are interested in biology.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 復興までの道程をビデオで拝見させて頂き、よくここまで復活させていただいたことに深く感謝申し上げます。
旅の途中で見つけて、偶然入りましたが、最も心に残った施設でした。
鯨を専門に観るということは無かったですし、良い科学館だと思います。
まだ復興途中ですし、行く機会を作ってまた訪問したいです。

I found it during my trip and entered it by chance, but it was the most memorable facility.
I never watched whales specially, and I think it's a good science museum.

記念スタンプはありません。
展示は、震災後、数が減ってしまいましたが、見ごたえはあります。
ところどころにいるマネキン(人)がリアルで、本当に人がいるのかと、ビビります(^_^;)
触れる展示もありますが、今はコロナのため、触れることはできません。
山田町のキャラクターのグッズが売店にありました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 施設は大きくはないけど職員さん達の個性引き立つ工夫で色々展示されていてとても分かりやすく作られていました。津波の被害からの復興ビデオを見てたら何か涙が止まらなくなりました
