★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 庚申塔、馬頭観音、百万遍供養塔など古の信仰の石碑が並んでいます。ちょっとした高台の端に位置しているので、遠野の村と山々をバックに良い雰囲気が出ています。
Stone monuments of ancient worship, such as Koshin Pagoda, Mazu Kannon, and Hyakuman Hen Yan Pagoda, are lined up. Because it is located at the edge of a little hill, a good atmosphere comes out with Tono's village and mountains in the background.

遠野物語の足跡追って山へ分け入ったりするのも楽しいですし、一方で里の生活へと想いを馳せるのも趣あって良いかと思います
ここは展望がよく田畑が見えるため、そんな気持ちに浸りやすい場所です
The legend of Tono is probably something that the people of the village kept warming up.
It's fun to follow in the footsteps of Tohno Monogatari and break into the mountains, but on the other hand, I think it's nice to think about the life of the village.
This is a place where you can easily immerse yourself in such feelings because you can see the fields with a good view.
