★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私有地で立ち入り禁止の部分が多いが、田植えをしている方に、声をかけていただき、「家から登れる」といわれ、登らせていただいた。
堀や土塁、堀切は残るが、状態は良くない。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 連郭式の中世城郭で曲輪を隔てる堀がよく残ります。一方で丸馬出があるとのことだがこちらは見つかりませんでした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 市内でもほとんど知られていないであろう笹子城址。
集落の民家の入口に案内があります。
案内はこれだけ。民家の脇を進むも、どこが城跡なのかは分からない。
小高い丘の上が城跡なのだろうと当たりを付けて登ってみる。
途中に段々となっているのは曲輪の遺構？
拓けた丘の上に城があったのだろうか。
歴史のロマンを感じる。
