 If you charge ICOCA with a reasonable amount of money, you can actually go to Kintetsu Nagoya Station without exiting the ticket gate. Sanyo → Hanshin → Kintetsu

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山陽電鉄本線の西の終着駅。JRよりも移動に時間阪急かかりますが、遅延や運休も少ないですし混雑しづらいので、使ってみる価値のある駅と路線だと思います。
The west terminal station of the Sanyo Electric Railway Main Line. It takes more time to travel than JR, but there are fewer delays and suspensions, and it is less crowded, so I think it is a station and route that is worth trying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 姫路と西神を結ぶ山陽電鉄の西のターミナル駅、現在、神戸高速鉄道を挟んで、阪神大阪梅田駅直通特急が走っています、この駅はスルッとKANSAIで行ける西端の駅になります
因みにこの駅から愛知県の豊橋駅まで、JR（316km）を使わずに電車で行くことが可能です
The west terminal station of Sanyo Electric Railway that connects Himeji and Seijin, currently running a direct express train to Hanshin Osaka Umeda Station across the Kobe Rapid Transit, this station will be the westernmost station that can be reached by KANSAI.
By the way, it is possible to go from this station to Toyohashi station in Aichi prefecture by train without using JR (316km).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山陽電車の一大ターミナルです。梅田行きの特急電車も運転してますが、遅いです。新幹線、新快速、快速、山陽電車の順ぐらいですかね。のんびり行くにはいいと思います。
It is a big terminal of Sanyo Electric Railway. I also drive a limited express train bound for Umeda, but it's slow. The order is Shinkansen, Special Rapid Service, Rapid Service, Sanyo Electric Railway. I think it's good to go leisurely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 兵庫県の神戸から姫路まで営業運転している私鉄の鉄道会社の山陽電鉄の始発駅。同一地域ではJR山陽線も並走していて、三宮駅を起点に垂水駅・明石駅・姫路駅は、ほぼ同じ位置に駅が有るので両方を併用している乗客も多い。姫路駅は山陽電鉄運営の山陽百貨店が有る駅でエキナカには山陽そばも有る。駅周辺はJR姫路駅や山陽新幹線の姫路駅も近く、また姫路城迄も歩いていく事が出来る。駅のすぐ下は神姫バスの発着場が有り姫路競馬場や姫路市内近郊へのバス路線の起点となっている。山陽電車は阪急電車や阪神電車と共同運営している高速神戸線迄入る。また阪神電車とは相互乗り入れしているので、姫路から阪神大阪梅田駅まで特急1本の乗り換えなしで行けるのも便利。

The area around the station is close to JR Himeji Station and Himeji Station on the Sanyo Shinkansen, and you can walk to Himeji Castle.
