★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「つきみやぐら」…京都伏見城内にあったものを移建したもので、本来は着見櫓のこと。1階南面に石落しがあり、古い建築様式をもつ。1966年に復元された。
 "Tsukimiyagura" ... A relocation of what was in Fushimi Castle, Kyoto, originally a Tsukimi turret. There is a stone drop on the south side of the 1st floor, and it has an old architectural style. It was restored in 1966.

現在の月見櫓は1966年(昭和41年)に天守と同時に鉄筋コンクリートで復興されたもの。

It is said that the tower of Fushimi Castle was relocated, but it was demolished in the early Meiji era.
The current Tsukimi turret was reconstructed with reinforced concrete at the same time as the castle tower in 1966 (Showa 41).

夜はライトアップされていて、白壁が美しいです。
普段は内部は公開されていませんが、文化の日には公開されることがあります。
It is the turret that you can see closest to you from the north exit of Fukuyama Station.
It is lit up at night and the white walls are beautiful.
The interior is not normally open to the public, but it may be open to the public on Culture Day.
