★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 福山城公園の南東の一角に作られた花崗岩製の『水の城』です。
平成４年(１９９２年)完成しました。
花崗岩を造形的に加工し、かつ、建築要素を取り入れて旨く組み合わせて、バランスよく配置している。そして必然的に水を取り入れ、噴水にしている。

さまざまに形成される象の中で
存在する
ときには嚴しく ある時は優しく
飛びはねる 人と自然の時空の中に芽生え

未来にむかって 不思議な出会いの空間が生まれる

It is a granite "water castle" made in the southeast corner of Fukuyama Castle Park.
It was completed in 1992.
Granite is processed in a sculptural manner, and architectural elements are incorporated and combined in a well-balanced manner. And inevitably, it takes in water and makes it a fountain.
