★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高台にあるので江戸時代は海が見渡せる絶景神社だった…雰囲気はあるけれど今は面影は薄い。
階段は上がるも下がるも怖すぎます。
Because it is on a hill, it was a superb view shrine that overlooks the sea during the Edo period.
The stairs are too scary to go up and down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR大森駅西口に出ると目の前にありました。かなり急勾配な階段。途中左手には伏見稲荷大明神さまが鎮座。階段をあがると静かな都会のオアシス。ベンチにはサラリーマンが休憩中。古きよき懐かしい神社。ご朱印はいただけません。
I was right in front of the JR Omori Station West Exit. Pretty steep stairs. On the way left is Fushimi Inari Daimyojin. A quiet urban oasis as you climb the stairs. The office worker is taking a break on the bench. An old and nostalgic shrine. No red stamps are accepted.

御祭神は天照大御神。
50段もの階段を登りますが、急で石段の幅も狭いので、足腰が弱くなってきた方は少し迂回する道を来た方が良いかと。
境内社には正一位伏見稲荷社がある。この境内社は台風により昭和60年（1985年）に再建されたもの。

参拝後、社殿左手の社務所にて金箔入りの御朱印をいただきました。
社務所では、御歳91歳の氏子総代から、場所の歴史の説明や周辺スポットの案内資料をいただきました。
手水にはセンサーがあり、非接触で手を清めることができます。先進的。

大森駅西口を出て道路を挟んだ真向かいにあります。私の好きな鰻屋さんの横の階段の上です！こちらに引っ越して来てから15年になりますが気付かずすみません(^_^;)
急な階段がありますが趣があります。こじんまりとした境内ですが、子供達が楽しそうに遊んでいて、大人の方々もテント？を張って楽しんでおり、地域密着型の神様が鎮座されているのでしょうと感心しました。ここに平和のヒントを見ました。お近くにお寄りの際は、覗いてみては如何ですか☺
平和を祈願?
今日は仕事帰りにひどい雨でポンチョを着ていた為、入口で手を合わさせて頂きました。写真も撮れず申し訳御座いません。
改めて伺い、お祈りさせて下さい。
Pray for peace ? (Revisited due to rain the other day)
It is directly across the road from the west exit of Omori Station. It's on the stairs next to my favorite eel shop! It's been 15 years since I moved here, but I'm sorry I didn't notice it (^ _ ^;)
There are steep stairs, but it is quaint. It's a small precinct, but children are playing happily, and adults are also tents? I was enjoying it, and I was impressed that a community-based god was enshrined. I saw a hint of peace here. Why don't you take a peek when you are near us? ☺
