清	清水宏 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元々は赤坂にあったお店です。ハンバーグ定食をいただきましたが、お肉の味がしっかりしています。それとここのコーヒーは絶品です。いまは奥様となられたようですが、赤坂時代のバリスタの方が淹れてくれています。 Originally a store in Akasaka. We had a hamburger set meal, but the taste of the meat is firm. And the coffee here is exquisite. It seems that she is now a wife, but the barista from the Akasaka era is drowning.

Small business that fits up to 15 pax only. They have English menu as well. Will definitely recommend to come here to try it out.

R	Rebecca Liu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the food was decent, I would not recommend anyone who can't read and speak in Japanese to patronise this shop. Yes, they have an English menu but the pricing for the two menus are different. When asked why the price is different, the server informed me that the portion size is different. I note that it is stated that the wagyu beef steak on the English menu is 100g compared to the Japanese's 80g but I don't see how that is so for the other dishes. Example, I ordered a prawn dish. My English order had four prawns, I can't imagine it being just two or three prawns if you had ordered from the Japanese menu. The most absurd thing is that I ordered in Japanese, referring to the Japanese menu, so I am unable to see why they assumed I'd like to pay the higher price stated on the English menu but they charged me as such. On a side note, my partner who went with me does not know Japanese, hence we asked for the English menu. Anyhow, I see no reason why the pricing is different for their offerings or why a gaijin portion size is even a thing at the establishment. It is also not stated anywhere that a お席代 would be charged at ¥500 per person. It may not be to you, but I think it is a significant amount to be charged just for having a seat at their restaurant. Usually when such is the case in Japan (rarely ever at that price, mind you), a complimentary small appetiser or salad will be offered. However, this was not so at Sumifuji.
