★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今はすっかり山の上まで宅地化され、遺構は何も残っていません。尾根筋の交差点付近に標柱が建っています。今は城址としてではなく、むしろジブリの聖地として有名なようです。

特に残っている遺構は見当たらず、本当にただの「跡」である。
とはいえ、昔ここに何があったかを思うと感慨深くなる。
眺めはそこそこ良い。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつて存在した関戸城の天守台跡となっていますが、現在はその遺構は残っておりません。ここの近くにある金比羅宮が天守台と呼ばれていた模様です。
鎌倉時代にここからの物見台の拠点として使われていたようです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京王線聖蹟桜ヶ丘駅の西口改札口前に南の方向で桜通り道でいろは坂の道路が見える所に曲がって約15分歩けます。いろは坂の上に標柱があります。景色が良いけど、標柱の所に天守跡と土塁などがなんとも無いんです。昔、天守閣跡があったらしい絵物プレートが残されています。
In front of the west exit of Seiseki-sakuragaoka Station on the Keio Line, turn south on the Sakura-dori road and walk for about 15 minutes until you can see the Irohazaka road. There is a pillar on the top of Irohazaka. The scenery is good, but there are no castle towers or earthworks at the pillars. There is a painting plate that seems to have been the site of the castle tower in the past.

しかしこの地域は新田義貞(反幕府)と鎌倉幕府勢の古戦場等々もあり楽しめます。
