★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鳥海山登山のスタート駅として利用しました。ここから湯の台温泉の送迎バスで鳥海山に向かいました。落ち着いた駅でした。
 I used it as a starting station for climbing Mt. Chokai. From here, I took a shuttle bus from Yunodai Onsen to Mt. Chokai. It was a calm station.

3月1日以降は自動券売機での対応となります。
The green window at this station (the window where station staff sell tickets) was closed on February 28, 2022.
After March 1st, it will be available at the automatic ticket vending machine.

久々の切符購入。たまにはこういうのも良いですね。
ここから新庄まで、最上川の車窓を楽しむこととなるとは、この時は都内までどう帰ろうか必死で、思いもしませんでした。思わぬプレゼントとなりました。

高校時代までは駅横に蕎麦屋もあった、よく食べに行ってたなぁ?天ぷらにアミエビがはいってたのが懐かしい?
I rarely use it because I live in a car, but I wonder if it is inconvenient because it is a diamond unique to the region ?
Until high school, there was a soba shop next to the station, so I used to go out to eat ? I miss the tempura with Akiami paste shrimp ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022/2/23、快速海里乗車で訪問。待合室はそれ程広くありませんが、綺麗で過ごしやすかったです。券売機にてクレジットカードで買う方法を知らなかった乗客へ、丁寧に操作方法を説明されていました。
Visited on 2022/2/23 by rapid train ride. The waiting room is not so large, but it was clean and comfortable. Passengers who did not know how to buy with a credit card at a ticket vending machine were carefully explained how to operate it.
