★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 酒門の六叉路から少し奥まった丘陵の上にある。
かなり歴史は古く１０００年ほど前の堀河天皇と関わりがあることから、それ以前よりあった模様。お宮は小さいものの、巨木が立ち並んで参道も距離が取られており、古社であることがなんとなくわかる。
近くには二つの寺院がある。江戸時代に神仏習合を分けたということが由緒書きにあったので、古くはこれらの寺院と一体であったらしい。
水戸市内に入る丘陵地帯にあることから、もしかすると軍事的な意味もあったのかも知れない。
敷地内はしっかり管理されており、地域の方から大事にされているようでした。
It is located on a hill a little deeper than the six-forked road of Sakado.
It has a long history and is related to Emperor Horikawa about 1000 years ago, so it seems that it was there before that. Although the palace is small, huge trees are lined up and the approach to the shrine is far away, so you can see that it is an old shrine.
There are two temples nearby. It seems that it was one with these temples in the old days because it was written in the history that the Shinto and Buddhist rituals were divided in the Edo period.
Since it is located in a hilly area that enters Mito City, it may have a military meaning.
The site was well managed and seemed to be taken care of by the local people.
