★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Archaeologically speaking, this is one of the more important kofun (burial tumuli) in the area, but there is little to see here, alas. The mound itself is not only rather overgrown, but is hidden from view by an ugly building immediately in front of it, so it is difficult to photograph, at least without walking over the fields to the rear..
