★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この西光寺は、香川県丸亀市飯山町西坂元に位置します。ここは、県道１９５号岡田丸亀線から東方面に少し行った旧道沿いにある。少し北方面に行くと県道１８号善通寺府中線に出る。西方は土器川が流れている。この寺は、高楊山千寿院西光寺と云い、浄土真宗興正寺派の寺院である。この飯山町辺りは、浄土真宗興正寺派が多いのが目立つ地区である。この寺は、慶応時代の末頃に開山し、現在は五代目の住職であると云う。寺自体はさほど大きくはないが、住居、駐車場等の敷地内はほどほどにある!?
 This Saikou-ji Temple is located in Nishisakamoto, Iiyama-cho, Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture. This is along the old road that went eastward from Prefectural Road 195 Okada Marugame Line. If you go a little north, you will come to Prefectural Road No. 18 Zentsuji Fuchu Line. The Doki River runs to the west. This temple is called Koshoji Temple, Senjuin Temple, and is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Koshoji school. This area around Hanzan Town is a conspicuous area with many Jodo Shinshu Koshoji temples. This temple was opened at the end of the Keio era and is now said to be the fifth priest. The temple itself is not very large, but the premises such as houses and parking lots are moderate !?
