★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私が立ち寄った際はちょうど菊花展が開かれていました。寺院内は狭いながらも綺麗に整えられており、生け花や綺麗な草木を見ることができます。
この三十三観音霊場は、平安時代に開基したとされる西国三十三所を模したものであり、これらに倣い室町時代頃に始まったとのことです。本尊は十一面観世音菩薩。
結願後の御礼参りは香川県の善通寺で行います。1から33まですべて香川県内のみを巡礼範囲とするので、時間や経費の負担が少ない事が利点です。
The chrysanthemum flower exhibition was just held when I stopped by. The inside of the temple is small but beautifully arranged, and you can see flower arrangement and beautiful vegetation.
This 33 Kannon Pilgrimage Site imitates the 33 Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage Sites, which are said to have been established in the Heian period, and it is said that they started around the Muromachi period. The principal image is the eleven-faced Kanzeon Bosatsu.
After the application, we will visit Zentsuji Temple in Kagawa Prefecture. Since the pilgrimage range is limited to Kagawa prefecture from 1 to 33, it is an advantage that the burden of time and expenses is small.
