城の内と呼んでいた。今は山林に成っている。
やや高い所に、東西48ｍ・南北72ｍの長方形で空堀・土塁をめぐらせた土居屋敷形式のもの、平賀氏の家臣原田氏が在城したと伝える。
1989年(平成元)国道2号バイパス(現国道2号)建設に伴い、南西の一部分が発掘された。
堀の底面から備前焼大甕の破片が出土、城館は15世紀後半から16世紀後半まで昨日していたと思われる。＜飯田米秋＞東広島の歴史事典-東広島郷土史研究会編
Place Higashihiroshima City Saijomachi Teriya
I called it inside the castle. It is now a forest.
It is said that Mr. Hiraga's vassal Harada, who was a doi-style house with a rectangular shape measuring 48m east-west and 72m north-south over the sky moat and earthworks, was in a rather high place.
A part of the southwest was excavated due to the construction of National Highway No. 2 bypass (current National Highway No. 2) in 1989.
From the bottom of the moat, fragments of the Bizen ware Oji pot were excavated, and it is probable that the castle building had been operating yesterday from the latter half of the 15th century to the latter half of the 16th century.
