★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saiganji Temple 西願寺 ( South of Nagatani Hachimangu ) : On its south is a temple called Saiganji up on the top of this small mountain. There are several access to the temple from different side of the mountain connected with stairs. You can command the view of Iwakura from here. Sanganji was originally located in Sanjo Ohashi Higashizume and moved to this location due to the construction of that area. The temple belongs to Jodo sect of Buddhism.
