★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good skiing for beginners but the park is not well suit up for Foreign tourists, not many signs in English, the people are very friendly and try to help but few speak English. Really intended as a Japanese budget family resort, no night life at all.
A major issue found is that while hotel and ski hire can be paid for with credit card almost everything else is cash only. There’s no ATMs at the resort so come with plenty of cash.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most picturesque ski resorts that I've been to in Japan.
(Yes - pictures are accurate) Good place if you're travelling with a group of beginners since the terrain is very beginner friendly and picturesque. Intermediate and advanced riders will be bored quickly save for the steep run (helmets req'd) and the park at the bottom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is horrible. Especially the ticket office. My friend and I got a lift pass thinking it was needed to snowboard there. We ended up not using it because we are beginners and we were scared of how high it went. Went to the ticket office for a refund, not having used the lift at all, this cost us 10000¥, they did not give us a refund. We then offered the passes to a couple that was going to buy passes and told them we did not use them. They accepted and I walked away, that’s when the woman behind the counter, took the passes from the couple and said that I can’t do that. I said but I paid and did not use it, what’s the problem? She just yelled in Japanese and was really aggressive, then walked away. This sort of stuff makes me hate Japan, and I’ve been living here for years. She did not explain why she was doing this and knew with our limited Japanese we could not answer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was not crowded compared to those in Gifu so we could enjoy soft snow there! The rental nearby open at 8:30.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap but relatively low quality. Crowded during weekends with full of college students. View is good from the top of the mountain

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a very big mountain, but lots of fun regardless. The hardest course is called Kiotoshi and is only accessible from the peak and the staff require you to be wearing a helmet, so come prepared. They have lots of restaurants and cafes scattered around the mountain as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So many hotels results in too many students, we saw so many boards flying off the slopes very scary and not very safe.
Another point to highlight is the one black is helmet mandatory who’s is questionable, they don’t even offer helmets on top for a quick run down. My opinion if you make helmet mandatory you need to provide for free. It’s the only resort that I know off so far in Japan that has this restriction. Won’t come again that’s for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taking the Gondola to the top was a wonderful experience.
We skied here during mid February, snow on the lower slopes can become hard and very slippery on sunny day but snow on the top mountain was steadily soft, powder and thick. There was more fun to either ski or snowboard among the forest which could only be found on the top!!
