行くのがちょっと分かりづらい所です。国道289号線・龍神橋の東側そばにある小道から道なりに進み広場の手前にある車2～3台分の砂利敷きの場所に車を止めるか、静川郵便局の駐車場に車を止めて歩行者用？の小ぶりの橋を渡るかすると広場に出ます。広場の東側、小さな橋を渡り山の斜面にある石段を登った先に神社が鎮座しています。石段の手前にはお手水のような水場がありますが、その水はとなりの沢の水をパイプで引っ張ってきているようです。境内は広く拝殿は作りも立派です。拝殿横に通路があり石段の先に本殿があるのですが壁が高くて見ることができませんでした。少し離れた所に石祠があるのですが、こちらは何の神様を奉っているのかわかりません。会津風土記によれば祭神が罔象女神で、相殿神が三島神と若宮八幡神とのこと。金井村の君島大和という宮司が祭祀を執り行っていたそうです。蛇足。国道から入る小道の先は、行き過ぎると戻るのが非常に大変です。砂利敷の所に車を止めましょう。
