★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神明津と藤ヶ瀬の間に「間之川(あいのかわ？まのかわ？)」という木曽川と旧佐屋川をつなぐ川があった。
川北神社辺りは旧佐屋川から間之川が分岐するあたりにあり、古来であれば川中にあたるような場所であろう。
目前は海部幹線水路なので南北の堤防道路があるが、旧間之川の河道に沿って東西の自然堤防道路もある。神明津の地泉寺から見ても数メートル小高い。

鳥居前の一本紅梅が満開近く、裏手の花壇にはパンジーがキレイに咲いてました。

The area around Kawakita Shrine is near the branch of the Mano River from the former Saya River, and in ancient times it would be a place that would be in the middle of the river.
There is a north-south embankment road in front of you because it is the Kaifu main canal, but there is also a natural levee road in the east and west along the river channel of the former Mano River. It is a few meters high even when viewed from Jizumiji Temple in Shinmeizu.

One red plum in front of the torii was near full bloom, and pansies were beautifully blooming on the flowerbed behind.
