★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 会津郡役所より鴫山城を通り上り詰めると愛宕神社の山門が見えて来ます。
山門には仁王の木造が安置されています。
数年前に焼失してしまった愛宕神社本殿ですが、2018年に再建され、ピカピカの銅板葺に鮮やかな朱色の社となっています。
会津田島の町が見下ろせます。
南への稜線は岩稜となっているのが遠望出来ます。
比較的しっかりした踏み跡が続いていましたが、今日は探検できませんでした。
